The G.E.C.S name was originally given by Shaun Marnell to power his own vehicles and drivers, since then, he has decided to help the public by giving them access to his charging station to charge their vehicles. Car ‘N’ Cab Care Ltd was created by Shaun Marnell with the main focus of quality over quantity, with a better access policy to fit a wider variety of needs in the vehicle industry, yet still maintaining affordability and value for money.
In 2019 Car ‘N’ Cab Care ceased to sell and fund Public Hire vehicles, this was mainly due to low vehicle availability, soaring purchase costs and the poor reliability of diesel vehicles. The company subsequently shifted it’s focus to concentrate on the Private Hire industry which is why we can now see so many new EV’s on the road today.
Since CarNcab care originally started Shaun stopped selling and funding public hire vehicles back in 2019, as predicted this service is failing due to the lack of vehicle availability as the cost to purchase them is so high and reliability in diesel is so low. We rebranded the company back in 2019 to concentrate on the private hire industry which is why we can now see so many new EV's on the road today.
